A Fantastic History

A beautiful building hosting a community of friends, clubs and societies.

Our Building

The Carleton Grange Community Centre has been in it’s present location since it’s inception around 80 years ago.

The original purpose of our building was to house the Freemasons and constructed in around 1874.

Here you can find more information around the Freemasons of Pontefract.

OUR CLUBS, GROUPS AND SOCIETIES

Currently we have over thirteen different clubs, groups, societies and services who occupy our spaces.

We welcome all into our community and look forward to any new clubs or societies that wish to base themselves here.

We are currently looking to creat a small business hub and meeting space for members and non members who would like to get together and share knowledge and experience.

OUR COMMUNITY

At the Carleton Grange Community Centre you can expect a very diverse range of friends and families who enjoy many social organisations.

We hostvarious family and adult events right throughout the year from plays and pntomimes to garden parties and entertainment nights featuring popular bands.
