We have around 44 meetings a year with a programme which can be viewed on the link to our web site – pontefractcameraclub.smugmug.com.

our history

The Club was inaugurated in 1920! As an active and lively club with a vast amount of expertise in all aspects of photography we welcome all levels of camera users.

programme of activities

Our excellent programme includes activities off site usually for evening photography and outside in the large garden at the rear.

During the summer break of approximately 6 weeks some members meet informally to chat about photography and have one-to-one advice as requested.

We have members of ‘all ages’ and are regarded as one of the most friendly clubs in the region.

Membership of our club includes affiliation to Carleton Community Centre allowing use of the bar of the Grange Club within the building.
